Our story
Cuddlr started with a simple problem: Mike was tired of being cold whilst winter fishing - and nothing on the market actually kept the cold out. So we set about making something that did.
We're a UK business with a UK team, designing for the weather we actually live in - grey, wet, wind-blown British winters. Every pair is built and tested against the real conditions our customers face, not a mild idea of "cold."
Since 2023, more than 60,000+ people - riders, swimmers, dog walkers, farmers, and plenty who just feel the cold — have worn Cuddlr through their autumn and winters. We read every review, and the product keeps getting better because of them.
— Mike, Founder of Cuddlr

"Finally a pair of gloves that survive a full yard morning. Warm, grippy enough to manage gates and haynets, and I can actually use my phone to check the vet's message."
Emma F. · UK · Equestrian
"Ordered two pairs — one for me and one for my daughter. The grip on the reins is genuinely better than bare hands in the cold."
LK · UK · Equestrian

Before you buy
Use the measurements in the size guide — hand width and hand length are the most reliable guides. If you're between sizes, size up. The adjustable velcro wrist strap means the fit can be dialled in once they're on.
Measure across the widest part of your palm (excluding the thumb) for hand width, and from the base of your palm to the tip of your middle finger for hand length. Compare to the size table: S (10cm / 22cm), M (10.5cm / 23cm), L (11cm / 24cm).
Yes — the Guard is designed to fit all hand shapes. Use the measurements rather than guessing by gender.
The adjustable velcro strap locks the glove securely around your wrist — no cold air up the cuff, and no dropping them when your hands go numb trying to undo a zip or gate latch.
Water-repellent — rain beads off the outer surface and won't soak through in normal use. We say water-repellent rather than waterproof because the seams aren't sealed; for everyday cold, wind and rain they keep your hands dry.
Yes — the outer is windproof construction. Wind stops at the glove; your hands never feel it.
Yes — the fingertips are touchscreen-compatible so you can use your phone without pulling them off. Works on most modern smartphone screens.
Yes — the silicone grip palms are designed to hold gates, leads, reins and handlebars securely. You shouldn't need to take them off to grip anything in normal use.
The fleece lining keeps hands genuinely warm in cold, windy weather. They're built for outdoor use in autumn and winter — dog walks, yard work, commuting, cycling — rather than extreme alpine conditions.
Machine washable at 30°C on a gentle cycle with a gentle detergent. Air-dry flat — do not tumble dry. Avoid fabric softener.
A 30°C gentle wash won't strip the repellency. Over time and many washes it can start to fade — simply reproof at home with an off-the-shelf product such as Nikwax.
