Most trousers just insulate, warming you up after the cold's already got in. Cuddlr stops it at the surface.
Keeps the weather out
Rain beads off, wind blocked at the surface.
A sealed barrier against wind and driven rain.
Holds your heat in
Traps a layer of still, warm air.
Soft warmth held against your skin, no bulk.
Four layers, two jobs.
Weather out. Heat in.
Our story
Cuddlr started with a simple problem: Mike was tired of being cold whilst winter fishing - and nothing on the market actually kept the cold out. So we set about making something that did.
We're a UK business with a UK team, designing for the weather we actually live in - grey, wet, wind-blown British winters. Every pair is built and tested against the real conditions our customers face, not a mild idea of "cold."
Since 2023, more than 60,000+ people - riders, swimmers, dog walkers, farmers, and plenty who just feel the cold — have worn Cuddlr through their autumn and winters. We read every review, and the product keeps getting better because of them.
— Mike, Founder of Cuddlr

"Instead of complaining about the cold at the yard, they're now complaining how warm and toasty they are! There's a bit of jealousy amongst the other yard members."

Before you buy
Two styles to choose from — cuffed elasticated ankle to tuck into boots, or a straight leg with a reflective zip on the lower leg.
Straight-leg reflective zip — a long zip on each lower leg opens them right up to go easily over boots, and the reflective zip helps you be seen on dark winter mornings and evenings.
Your normal waist size — true to size, now with a bit of stretch. Size up one only if you want a roomier fit or room for a layer. You don't need thermals; they're warm on their own.
A weatherproof polyester outer with 8% elastane for stretch, a windblock membrane, cotton wadding, and a thick Sherpa fleece lining — four layers working as one system.
Yes — they're unisex, cut to fit everyone. Just use the size guide for your fit.
Yes — non-restrictive and now with 8% stretch in the outer shell, so they move with you in and out of the saddle.
Whatever's comfortable — over underwear, leggings or shorts. No thermals needed; they're warm on their own.
The outer shell is rated to 10,000mm hydrostatic head — rain beads off and won't soak through in normal wear, and it blocks the wind. We say weatherproof rather than waterproof because the seams aren't taped; for everyday cold, wind and rain they keep the weather off you.
Yes. The Sherpa lining insulates whether you're moving or not — warm on a touchline, in a wheelchair, or at the water's edge.
Built to hold warmth without trapping sweat. Many customers wear only shorts underneath, even in freezing temperatures, and stay comfortable.
Machine washable at 30°C. Air dry or dry on a radiator. Do not tumble dry, and avoid fabric softener.
Yes — a 30°C wash won't strip the weatherproofing. Over time and lots of washes it can start to fade, and if it does you can simply reproof them at home with an off-the-shelf product such as Nikwax.
That's what the ankle zip is for. Unzip, step in, zip up — they pull on easily even when your legs are still a little damp.
We'd recommend towelling off first, then stepping your legs into the trousers — you'll be more comfortable. It's possible to pull them straight on over a wet costume, and some customers do, but a quick towel-down first works best.
UK orders ship from our UK warehouse. Orders to the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand ship from our international warehouse. We use trusted carriers including Royal Mail, EVRi, UPS and Australia Post to get your order to you quickly.
No — there are no duties or import tariffs to pay at all, in any of the countries we ship to. The price you see is the price you pay.
If something isn't right, we make exchanges simple — we have a UK returns depot and a US returns depot, so you return to whichever is closest. Return postage is covered by the customer, and items need to be unworn and clean. Start a return with our returns form, or read the full delivery & returns policy.
No — mud and debris wipe straight off the smooth outer fabric, and the fleece lining inside doesn't hold on to hay or debris. Nothing sticks or works its way in.
No — a durable weatherproof outer, but not puncture- or thorn-proof. For heavy bramble-clearing you'd want dedicated protective trousers.
The straight-leg style has a reflective zip on each lower leg, so you're more visible on dark winter walks, early mornings and roadside. (The cuffed style doesn't have the zip — choose straight leg if visibility matters to you.)
Yes — they're warm and weatherproof enough for a day on the slopes, and plenty of customers wear them skiing. They're built as warm weatherproof trousers rather than technical salopettes, so for deep snow you may still want fully taped ski gear — but for most people, they do the job brilliantly.
