Designed in the UK, for British weather
Cuddlr started with a simple problem: Mike was tired of being cold whilst winter fishing - and nothing on the market actually kept the cold out. So we set about making something that did.
We're a UK business with a UK team, designing for the weather we actually live in - grey, wet, wind-blown British winters. Every pair is built and tested against the real conditions our customers face, not a mild idea of "cold."

The 2-in-1
How does it turn into a gilet?
The sleeves zip off at the shoulder. Take them off and you've got a warm gilet; zip them back on for a full jacket. It takes seconds.
Does the hood come off too?
Yes — the hood is fully detachable, in the same weatherproof fabric. On when the rain comes in, off when you don't need it.
Can I buy it as just a gilet?
It's one product that does both. You get the full jacket, the gilet and the hood in a single piece — no need to choose.
Fit & sizing
What size should I order?
The Adapt has a fitted cut. If you're between sizes, or you want room for a thick jumper underneath, size up one. It's warm enough on its own that you won't need heavy layers.
Is it unisex?
Yes — cut to fit everyone. Use the size chart for chest measurements.
Warmth & weather
Is it weatherproof?
The outer shell is rated to 10,000mm hydrostatic head — rain beads off and it blocks the wind. We call it weatherproof rather than waterproof because the seams aren't taped (the fleece lining means we can't tape them). For everyday cold, wind and rain, it keeps the weather off you.
How cold can I wear it in?
It's built for proper British winters — cold, wind and rain. The Sherpa lining keeps your core warm whether you're moving or standing still.
Will I get too hot?
That's exactly what the 2-in-1 is for — zip the sleeves off and switch to the gilet when the day (or the work) warms you up.
Care
How do I wash it?
Machine washable at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Air dry or dry on a radiator. Do not tumble dry, and avoid fabric softener.
Still weatherproof after washing?
Yes — a 30°C wash won't strip it. Over many washes it can start to fade, and if it does you can reproof at home with an off-the-shelf product such as Nikwax.
Does mud and hay wipe off?
Yes — the smooth outer fabric wipes clean, and the fleece lining doesn't hold on to hay or debris. Brush off surface muck after barn or yard work.

Where do you ship from, and how long?
UK orders ship from our UK warehouse (around 48 hours via Evri and Royal Mail). Orders to the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand ship from our international warehouse within 5–8 business days.
Any duties or import tariffs?
No — there are no duties or import tariffs to pay at all, in any country we ship to.
How do returns and exchanges work?
Return within 30 days via our delivery & returns page — UK, US and Canada returns depots. Items unworn and clean; return postage is covered by the customer.
